Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Article One ("the App"), operated by Ethan Fox ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Article One delivers a curated daily industry digest sourced from public posts on X (formerly Twitter). We provide one briefing per day, typically in the afternoon, alongside attributed source information.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
2. Accounts
You must sign in with Apple to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
- Free Tier: You may read up to 3 full digests per calendar month at no cost.
- Monthly Subscription: Unlimited access to all daily digests and the full archive is available for $1.99/month (USD), billed through your Apple ID.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Management & Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Refunds: All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple per their refund policy.
4. Content
All digest content is curated and summarized from publicly available posts on X. We attribute sources and link to original posts. We do not claim ownership of third-party content.
The digests, summaries, and editorial presentation are our original work and may not be reproduced, distributed, or republished without our written permission.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or servers
- Scrape, reproduce, or redistribute digest content
- Interfere with the App's operation or other users' access
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any digest content. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information in the App.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
9. Apple's Standard EULA
To the extent not covered by these Terms, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. You can review it at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
