The company says early-access customers saw no drop in quality while achieving a lower cost per commit compared to routing all requests to a top-tier model like Opus 4.8.
Cursor Router is available today on Teams and Enterprise plans across all Cursor surfaces. Admins can enable it per team, restrict which models are available, set organizational defaults, and block specific optimization modes for end users.
