Apple has raised prices on Macs, iPads, HomePods, and Apple TV, citing extreme memory and storage shortages. The MacBook Air jumps from $1,099 to $1,299, the MacBook Pro from $1,699 to $1,999, and the Mac Studio climbs $500 to $2,499. Apple said it has "never seen a component price increase this much, this quickly" and had been shielding customers until now. The HomePod rises to $349 from $299, the HomePod mini to $129 from $99, and Apple TV to $199 from $129 — with Vision Pro now starting at $3,699. Gurman notes the Mac and iPad hikes are unlikely to deter most customers, but the HomePod and Apple TV increases are riskier given how commoditized those markets are — Google and Amazon sell cheaper alternatives. iPhone prices are unchanged for now.
